Exclusive new spa opens at Whatley Manor
POSTED 10 Jul 2003 . BY
Whatley Manor’s Aquarias spa in Wiltshire has opened on schedule.

Situated within the brand new Whatley Manor hotel, near Malmesbury, the 15,000sq ft Aquarius spa is managed by specialist spa consultant, Spascape, which has overseen the project from conception to completion.

Facilities include a 13m x 8m hydrotherapy pool complete with a neck massage fountain and underwater lounger, a private VIP treatment suite for two people, four standard treatment rooms (three with showers), one wet room for scrubs and rubs, a serail mud steamroom and a gym equipped by Life Fitness.

Sensory art in the relaxation areas – including a Wave Dream feature by Dr Helmut Eigenmann, which projects wave images from a reflective pool onto the ceiling of a darkened and silent room – aims to extend customers’ relaxation time after a treatment.

Aquarius is also the only spa in the UK to feature one of La Prairie’s Five Star Art of Beauty Centres and Spascape expects Aquarias to become one of La Prairie’s flagship international properties.

The next Spascape project due for completion will be the spa at Pennyhill Park Hotel and Golf Club, which should open in September 2003. Details: www.whatleymanor.com or www.laprairie.com
