Facilities at an innovative 'beer health' spa in the Czech Republic are to be extended.

Located in the converted cellar of the Chodovar family brewery, situated in Chodová Planá in the Tachov region.

Believed to be the world's first beer spa, the cellar has seven large Victorian baths where visitors immerse themselves in a warm bath mixture of mineral water and dark bathing beer.

The owners now plan to extend the treatment menu as well as the beauty offering and add a swimming pool to the site. Details: chodovar.cz
