Fairmont Windsor Park announces spa plans
POSTED 13 Dec 2019 . BY Megan Whitby
The new Fairmont will feature a 2,500sq m spa and wellness area curated by Lisa Barden, spa and wellness director of Arora Group and former chair of the UK Spa Association.

Our team cannot wait to open the door to our first guests and ensure they receive the highest standards of service in this beautiful property.
– Surinder Arora, Arora Group founder and chair
Accor and Arora Group, have signed a deal for a new hotel and spa to be operated under the Fairmont brand.

The 200-room Fairmont Windsor Park is undergoing a £140m redevelopment and will open in the second half of 2020.

Previously an Arora property called the Savill Court Hotel and Spa, the hotel is near Windsor Great Park and Windsor Castle, with their royal connections.

This site will be the third Fairmont property in the UK, joining The Savoy in London and Fairmont St Andrews in Scotland.

The new Fairmont will feature a 2,500sq m spa and wellness area curated by Lisa Barden, spa and wellness director of Arora Group and former chair of the UK Spa Association.

The spa will have 14 treatment rooms, four wellness rooms and a VIP Spa Suite with exclusive use for guests occupying the Royal Suite. Arora is currently in the process of selecting a treatment supplier.

Facilities will include a salt room, hammam, Japanese foot spa and indoor and outdoor pools. All of the spa’s thermal and wet facilities will be provided by wet-area specialist Barr + Wray.

Surinder Arora, Arora Group founder and chair, commented: “We’re incredibly proud to bring the Fairmont brand to Arora’s growing hotel portfolio. Our team cannot wait to open the door to our first guests and ensure they receive the highest standards of service in this beautiful property.”

Marc Dardenne, COO Luxury Brands, Accor Europe, said: “Through strategic investment, brand management and focused operations, Accor has established itself as a leader in the global hotel market with a portfolio that includes many of the world’s most prestigious brands.

“We feel Fairmont is an ideal match for this remarkable hotel asset and look forward to showcasing all the brand has to offer”.

Additionally, guests will be offered three dining experiences available to guests including a champagne bar, tea lounge and restaurant.
