Industry veteran Gerard McCarthy, who worked for Dalesauna for 25 years, has launched a new company to supply saunas and steam rooms to the residential and commercial sectors.

The company, mr sauna, is based in Harrogate, England, with equipment manufactured in the UK.

“After twenty five years as sales director of Dalesauna, I fully intended to take a well-earned break from the industry; however, the response from customers and friends alike was so positive that I should remain, I decided to launch my own company,” said McCarthy. “I decided to call the new company mr sauna ltd, as many of the people I spoke to told me that I was ‘Mr Sauna,’ having been in the industry for so long – which I am taking as a compliment.”
