Global Wellness Institute hosting roundtable in Wales

The Global Wellness Institute and the Institute of Life Science are hosting a high-level roundtable to discuss wellness and tourism in Wales on Tuesday, 14 July.

The event takes place from 9:30 – 14:00 at Swansea University, and is chaired by professor Marc Clement. It includes guest speaker Dr Franz Linser, founder of Linser Hospitality in Austria and board member of the Global Wellness Institute, who will speak on “Global Wellness Tourism Trends.”

The roundtable will also include a discussion on opportunities and key challenges for Wales in wellness tourism.

The findings of the roundtable will form a white paper that will be presented at the 2015 Global Wellness Tourism Congress in Mexico City in November.

Other roundtable discussions about wellness tourism have been held in New York, Delhi, London, Marrakech and Washington D.C.
