Heated by geo-thermal and solar energy, with renewable wood chip technology for its hot water, the Solas Croi Eco Spa in Wexford has earned its eco title.
Opening its doors last month, Solas Croi Eco Spa is taking a holistic approach, offering ayurvedic treatments, natural products and will be treating and educating clients in ecologically sound methods.
Designed as a four-storey sphere, the spa is built from materials specially-sourced for their minimal impact on the environment.
Facilities comprise eight treatment rooms, yoga and meditation spaces, hydro experiences, a dry flotation room and a crystal bath. Outside terraces have hot tubs and loungers with views of the Barrow estuary.
