Derby University is launching a degree in International Spa Management at the start of the next academic year. The B(sc) at the university's school of Hospitality, Tourism and Leisure, will be the first of its kind in the world and is fully backed by ISPA Europe's Education Foundation. Industry leaders including Mark Silver of Academy Leisure, Simon Brown of Nirvana Spa, Michael Isaacs of Ragdale Hall and Jonathan Stapleton of Champneys, have reviewed the syllabus and are keen to offer students work placements.
