GOCO Hospitality has acquired Fivelements Retreat in Bali, Indonesia, with plans for a rebrand
New properties are planned in Thailand, Spain and Montenegro
The team will be made up of around 1,500 people across the brand ecosystem
Each new opening is expected to have unique architecture and advanced healing services

GOCO Hospitality has acquired Fivelements Retreat in Bali, Indonesia, which it plans to relaunch in late 2026. The brand will also be scaled globally, with locations in Thailand, Montenegro and Spain already in design development.

GOCO acquired Fivelements from health and wellness group Evolution Wellness. Fivelements is a privately held company and the acquisition details are not being released.

The relaunched concept will incorporate diagnostics, longevity tools and regenerative design.

Sustainability will also be a key focus for the brand, from energy optimisation and wastewater reduction to community empowerment and decentralised leadership.

Fivelements roll-out

Ingo Schweder, GOCO’s founder and CEO, told Spa Business: “Fivelements is a brand we have long admired for its authenticity, its deep respect for local traditions, and its soul-driven approach to wellness.

“We are building this platform with multicultural teams who bring innovation without sacrificing soul,” Schweder said, adding that the team will be made up of around 1,500 people in total across the brand ecosystem. “Our goal is to redefine what wellness hospitality means at scale – something deeply human, future-facing and globally resonant.”

Each new opening is expected to feature unique architecture, advanced healing services and technologically-integrated
wellness programmes that reflect the brand’s evolving approach to regenerative wellness.

“Success will mean bringing the brand to life across continents, cultures and communities with a unified vision and deep operational alignment,” said Schweder. “For me personally, this journey is deeply meaningful. I do this work because I have experienced first-hand the power of wellness to heal. The upcoming retreats will be living expressions of that, spaces that help people elevate, reflect, heal and ultimately return home transformed.”
