Per Aquum has launched a new initiative which aims to give back to the communities it operates in and tackle environment issues, including carbon emissions.

The first initiative for Per Aquum Responsibility is the launch of a locally produced coconut oil at its Maldivian spa, Huvafen Fushi. For every sale, US$5 will go back to the local community.

The spa team also worked with a local islander to devise a set of massage tools, handcrafted from coconut wood, to use with the oil and create a new signature treatment: Unite Me Crystal Ritual.
