Kempinski High Tatras spa opens

The spa within the Grand Hotel Kempinski High Tatras hotel in the Tatras Mountain range in Slovakia has opened.

The facility is also the inaugural Kempinski The Spa by Resense, a bespoke concept developed for Kempinski by new consultancy company Resense Spa.

Designed with a distinctly European feel, the 13,993sq ft (1,300sq m) Kempinski The Spa concept is based on the healing elements of nature and focuses on phytotherapy, using the plants, flowers and herbs in all treatments. Restoration and healing principles are inspired by the seasons and the use of organic herbs.

Resense has been established by Kempinski Hotels in collaboration with leading spa development and management consultancy Raison d'Etre. The senior management team of Resense is based in Geneva and headed up by CEO Lena Kasfiki-Livanidou. Details: kempinski.com
