The 25th ISPA Conference & Expo got underway in Las Vegas yesterday (19 October), and ISPA chair Michael Tompkins welcomed attendees at the general session. Tompkins presented the 2015 Visionary Award to Boldijarre Koronczay, president of Eminence Organics.

Koronczay thanked his employees – many of whom have been with him for more than 20 years; his grandmother, who helped him through childhood leukaemia and taught him the value of organic; his brother Attila who he described as his best friend and “partner in everything,”; and his parents, who travelled from Hungary to see him receive the award.

He spoke to the audience about the work he is doing with Eminence Kids, which provides organic, locally-sourced, nutrient-rich food for seriously ill children.

Tompkins donned a matching outfit to Koronczay – who was dressed in his signature fashionable style – and the pair surprised the audience with a dance routine, which continued down the aisle and to the Expo to officially open the exhibition.
