Pashmina Spa by L’Occitane in the French Alps features cosy treatment room with fireplace
POSTED 25 Feb 2016 . BY Jane Kitchen
The spa is decorated with wood, designed to create an atmosphere of warmth, comfort and calm amid the snowy Alpine location
L’Occitane has joined forces with the five-star Hotel Pashmina in Val Thorens ski resort in the French Alps.

The Pashmina Spa by L’Occitane is a 400sq m (4,306sq ft) spa located at the heart of the hotel, and features a steamroom, sauna, swimming pool, whirlpool and three treatment rooms.

The spa is decorated with wood, designed to create an atmosphere of warmth, comfort and calm amid the snowy Alpine location. One treatment room includes a fireplace, creating a snug, cosy environment.

Like all L’Occitane spas, The Pashmina Spa incorporates treatments performed entirely by hand, with no machines or technology.

A signature treatment for the Pashmina Spa is designed for skiers and lovers of mountain sports, helping them recover from a day in the mountain air. Based around L’Occitane’s Shea Butter range, it uses manual techniques, alternating between gentle and invigorating movements to relax deep muscles.
