La Maddalena Hotel and Yacht Club - located on the archipelago of La Maddalena between Sardinia and Corsica - is to open its doors on 20 May.
Created by Studio Boeri Architetti, the hotel also features Porto Arsenale Marina - a former military base that has been converted to accommodate more than 600 boats.
Facilities at the 96-room property feature a spa boasting three treatment rooms overlooking the sea, a Turkish bath and three saunas - organic, Finnish and herbal.
Dr Murad and Terme del Mare products will be used at the hotel's spa, with a Technogym-equipped fitness suite and a conference centre also among the facilities.
Antonio Marras, creative director for Kenzo, is one of the designers to work on the scheme, which will become the only location in north east Sardinia to accommodate Maxi yachts.
