European holistic wellbeing and health resort operator Lanserhof Group has received an investment worth €95 million (US$105.2 million, £80.7 million) to fuel its global expansion.

The capital injection comes from a consortium of investors, including global investment firm King Street Capital Management and investor Manuel Puig – whose expertise will be used to broaden Lanserhof’s longevity-focused treatments and products.

The investment will be managed by global private markets specialist AltamarCam.

Lanserhof’s existing shareholders will continue to own a majority stake in the group.

The investment means the decades-long family-led enterprise will develop into an institution with a co-ownership structure.

Expansion

Lanserhof fully owns and operates three luxury health resorts in Lans, Austria, plus Tegernsee and Sylt in Germany.

It has an additional location under development at the Finca Cortesin resort near Marbella, Spain, which began during an initial investment led by AltamarCam in 2023. This Lanserhof Marbella location is expected to open in 2027.

Several other new locations are due to open beyond Europe by 2030.

Lanserhof also intends to launch its own premium nutrition supplements and cosmetics range globally. Read more about how Lanserhof’s supplement supplier, Bioniq received a US$15 million (€13.3 million, £11.4 million) investment from HV Capital last year, here.

Dr Christian Harisch, CEO of Lanserhof Group, said: “For more than 40 years, Lanserhof has been at the forefront of integrative health. This partnership with renowned investors will provide resources and expertise to strengthen our presence in Europe while expanding our footprint into new regions globally where demand for high-quality preventive health and longevity solutions is accelerating.”
