Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide has announced its Le Méridien brand has grown its international portfolio to 100 properties with a new hotel in Coimbatore, India.
Owned by Appu Hotels, the 254-bedroom Le Méridien Coimbatore offers a number of bar and restaurant options including the signature Latest Recipe all-day dining concept.
Nearly 3,500sq m (37,674sq ft) of meeting space is also provided, while an "international spa concept" and a nightclub are both scheduled to open at the property in due course.
