The 37,000sq ft site will feature extensive fitness facilities
A further 10 new clubs are set to launch in the next 12 months, across the US
US country club operator, Life Time, is expanding in South Florida with a second athletic country club in Boca Raton which is expected to open in late 2025.

In its recent report, the Health and Fitness Association named Life Time as the world’s number one operator based on its US$2.22 billion revenue last year and its 1.5 million members at 171 sites.

The two-story 37,000 square-foot Boca Raton site will feature an expansive fitness floor and small group training spaces, multiple group fitness studios for Life Time's exclusive Class Collection featuring cardio, strength, yoga and Pilates programing, luxurious locker rooms, a co-ed wet suite with a cold plunge, sauna and steam room.

There will also be a LifeCafe serving healthy meals to go and smoothies along with Life Time's proprietary line of supplements, nutritional and wellness products. An attached parking garage will give members' easy access.

Parham Javaheri, Life Time EVP, president of club operations and chief of property development, says: "It's exciting to be a part of the active and growing Uptown Boca area through the work of Schmier Property Group and we're eager to be a key anchor in this fantastic development."

This will be Life Time's sixth destination in Florida, joining established locations in Boca Raton, Coral Gables, Harbour Island, Miami at The Falls, and West Palm Beach. Additional Florida growth is planned including a winter park destination near Orlando, set to open in 2026, as well as another in Jacksonville in 2027 and more which have not yet been named.

In total, Life Time currently has 11 sites set to open before the end of 2025. Next up is North Druid Hills in Atlanta in mid-December, followed by Rosemount, Minnesota on 27 December.

In spring 2025, new clubs will open in Evanston, Illinois; Eagle, Indiana; Arden, California; Atlanta and Boulder.

Clubs in Austin and Boston will launch in the summer, followed by West Boca and another California site in late 2025.
