Image: The Hollywood hotel currently includes a spaNew York, US-based Loews Hotels and Resorts has announced it has agreed a deal for the acquisition of the 632-bedroom Renaissance Hollywood Hotel in California on 16 June.
The hotel - rebranded as the Loews Hollywood Hotel - will benefit from a major US$26m (EUR20.9m, £16.9m) renovation starting later this year and will remain open throughout.
First opened in 2001 as part of the Hollywood and Highland Center, the 20-storey property currently includes a spa offering a range of skincare and body care therapies.
In addition to the spa, facilities also include a rooftop swimming pool and pool deck - all of which are to be enhanced with "uniquely local touches that make Loews Hotels distinct".
