Luxury hotel featuring Spa Botanica facility unveiled in Discovery Bay, Hong Kong

A new luxury hotel and spa has soft-opened on the northern tip of Discovery Bay in Hong Kong, boasting panoramic views of the South China Sea.

Situated on Lantau Island, Auberge Discovery Bay is in its soft-opening phase and features 261 guestrooms and 64 suites with ocean or mountain views.

The resort will house an Asian-inspired Spa Botanica facility, which aims to offer a physical and mental cleansing and relaxation experience.

The spa will consist of 10 private treatment rooms and two couples' rooms, one with a private spa pool.

The spa menu offers more than 50 different treatments includes a range of treatments targeting children and teenagers.

Steamrooms, vanity areas and spa pools will be on offer to guests.

Signature treatments include the 150-minute Auberge Ocean's Gift, combining a body scrub, wrap and massage using bamboo seaweed to detoxify the skin.

Brides-to-be can opt for the Triple Rose Radiance Treatment, comprising a 60-minute Rose Cocoon and 60-minute Essential Rose Facial.

Aromatherapy Associates products will be used for a selection of facials including Age Repair facial and Essential Rose facial.

An outdoor swimming pool and a fully-equipped fitness centre will also feature.

The resort's dining options include French and pan-Asian-inspired Café Bord de Mer which offers outdoor terrace seating with views of the South China Sea.

Almost 14,000 sq ft (1,300sq m) of event and function space is available including a Grand Azure Ballroom and seven function rooms.
