The spas at Mandarin Oriental Guangzhou, Hong Kong and Macau will feature 'face reader' Eric Standop as a consultant in residence between 22 February and 8 March. Standop has more than 12 years of experience in facial diagnosis, and will offer a series of one-to-one face readings, talks and workshops. He is also an experienced nutritionist. Face reading consultations will encompass a variety of themes at each destination, and aim to help guests achieve a balance in their social, emotional, spiritual and physical wellbeing. Health readings, love life readings, life purpose readings, nutritional readings, job readings, personality and character readings and destiny readings will all be available. Standop will deliver complimentary talks and workshops on face reading in both Macau and Hong Kong, in order to afford guests a better understanding of the ancient art and its benefits.

Silence to descend on Mandarin Oriental spas

Mandarin Oriental is introducing a Silent Night programme on 16 December at all its spas
worldwide. Designed to serve as peaceful retreats, the spas will become completely silent
for one night, with no music and no talking – not even for a therapist to enquire about
massage pressure.
