US-based spa operator Massage Envy is continuing to expand its portfolio with the opening of a franchised site in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

The latest Massage Envy Spa is an upscale day spa, specialising in facials and massage therapy.

The massage therapists are trained in various forms of therapeutic massage and are able to customize any massage session to each individual.

Massage Envy Spa's skin care partner Murad provides products for four types of facials offering therapeutic solutions for guests with skin disorders and concerns.

Affordability is a USP of Massage Envy, and the new site is offering introductory one hour massages from $49 (37 euro, £30) and the luxurious Hot Stone Envy at $98 (74 euro, £60).
