Miraval launches ‘Inspired Living’
POSTED 19 Apr 2007 . BY Sarah Todd
Arizona-based health resort Miraval has teamed up with two US-based property groups to launch Miraval Living, a health-oriented residential development in New York City, US.

Miraval has joined forces with C&K Properties and Zamir Equities to develop its ‘Inspired Living’ residential concept.

The first Miraval Living will be situated at 515 E. 72nd Street, on the Upper East Side of Manhattan and all 365 apartments at Miraval Living will feature panoramic skyline views.

Other facilities will include a Miraval Spa, a fitness centre, a 20,000sq ft garden and a garden café. Every resident will also be allocated a personal advisor.

John Vanderslice, Chief Executive Officer of Miraval, said: “There are many amazing places to live in New York City, but Miraval Living will be the first place to live that will change your life.”

A new Miraval Resort on the north-west coast of Costa Rica is also scheduled to open in late 2008. Miraval Punta Cacique, in the Guanacaste Province, will have 100 guest rooms and 40 villas.

Miraval’s majority owner is Revolution Living, a subsidiary of Revolution LLC, the healthful lifestyle company founded in April 2005 by former AOL chair Steve Case. Case first bought a majority share in the Arizona health resort in 2004. (See Spa Business 07/01 p12. To order, visit www.spabusiness.com)
