Multi-million pound UK spa nears launch

A new hotel and day spa is to open in July in the foothills of the Malvern hills in Malvern, UK.

Called Malvernspa, the £7.5m (9.47m euro, US$14.7m) day spa will cover 20,133sq ft (1,870sq m). It will include up to 10 treatment rooms, separate pedicure and manicure areas, a relaxation room and a crystal steamroom.

The spa will also offer a herb sauna, a salt grotto and hydrotherapy pools with water sourced from 820ft (250m) below the Malvern Hills.

Treatments will use ESPA and an organic skincare range, yet to be confirmed. Details: themalvernspa.com
