New CEO at Hamilton Island tropical resort

The former CEO for the Volvo Ocean Race around the world is to become the new CEO for the tropical island resort Hamilton Island on Australia’s Great Barrier Reef.

Glenn Bourke will begin his appointment this month and be responsible for all operations across the entire luxury destination, which is owned by billionaire wine exporter Bob Oatley and his family.

Hamilton Island offers a variety of accommodation and leisure facilities including the Qualia spa, which opened late last year.
