St David's Hotel (Gwesty Dewi Sant) in Cardiff, UK, has announced the launch of the new St David's Marine Spa concept.

This will see the hotel's existing spa moving towards the provision of treatments targeting health and well-being – alongside its development as a destination spa under the new name – while still remaining part of the St David’s Hotel & Spa brand.

A range of thalassotherapy packages will be on offer from marine spa products company, Thalgo, including a number created specifically for men.

The therapies will be incorporated into a series of residential packages of from three to seven days and marketed under the headings of Weight Loss, Detox and Indulgence.

In addition to treatments specific to a particular package, all will include an in-depth lifestyle consultation, accommodation in a king-size or twin-bedded room with private balcony and a view of Cardiff Bay, and all meals.

Nutritional advice will also be available and a healthy spa menu, with notes outlining the benefits of each dish, will be on offer in Waves, the hotel's new spa restaurant. The packages will be available from 27 June.
