Banyan Tree Group has announced that its first property in Vietnam - part of the country's first world-class integrated resort, Laguna Lang Co - is to open its doors on 1 November.

Inspired by the cultural heritage of Vietnamese dynasties, Banyan Tree Lang Co will feature 32 lagoon pool villas; 17 beach pool villas; and the Banyan Tree Spa Lang Co.

Spa therapists have been trained at one of the accredited Banyan Tree academies and will be providing a wide range of treatments focusing on a holistic approach to wellbeing.

A Banyan Tree spokesperson said: "Signature treatments at Banyan Tree Lang Co feature local ingredients as primary components to the recipe, offering guests a truly sensory experience."

A fitness centre and yoga classes will also be available, while its facilities also include an 18-hole, par-71 championship course designed by Sir Nick Faldo and a watersports centre.

GPS Development Services - the commercial arm of Banyan Tree - will deliver end-to-end services and expertise to external partners under a new Memorandum of Understanding.

Meanwhile, Banyan Tree Hotels and Resorts has renewed its partnership with EarthCheck - a benchmarking/certification programme monitoring the environmental impact of businesses.
