Oberoi’s second Nile cruiser features Zen-like spa
POSTED 01 Mar 2016 . BY Jane Kitchen
The spa offers views of the river, and during the day, an abundance of natural light shines through
The Oberoi Group has launched its second luxury Nile cruiser, The Oberoi Philae, featuring 22 cabins and suites, as well as an on-board spa.

The spa features a Zen-like ambience, complemented by marble and oak wood interiors, and features four massage suites. The spa offers views of the river, and during the day, an abundance of natural light shines through. Each suite includes a private therapy and relaxation area, steamroom and washroom.

The Oberoi Philae also includes a 24-hour fitness centre, also with Nile views, as well as a temperature-controlled swimming pool on the upper deck.

“The luxury Nile cruiser will offer the discerning traveller an oasis of tranquility with service which is warm, intuitive and personalised,” said Mahmoud Nourelden, boat manager for The Oberoi Philae. “We are confident that the cruiser will add tangible value to the hospitality sector in Egypt.”

The Oberoi Philae will offer four- and six-night itineraries, sailing between Aswan and Luxor. Oberoi already operates another luxury cruiser, The Oberoi Zahra.

Oberoi is also opening three hotels in 2016 in Morocco, India and United Arab Emirates.
