October launch for Sri Panwa on Phuket
POSTED 16 Oct 2009 . BY Sarah Todd
A new destination spa is to open in October 2009 on the south eastern tip of Phuket on Cape Panwa in Thailand.

The Sri Panwa spa will be owned and operated by the Issara family, and will be built in addition to the existing Sai Spa.

Nestled within a tropical rainforest and boasting its own private water gardens, the new spa will be traditionally Thai in its focus. Facilities will include six treatment rooms, hot and cold plunge pools, a number of waterfalls, thatched spa pavilions, rainshowers, relaxation areas and private pools.

There will also be water gardens, chillout areas and swimming pools, all 'hidden' within the rainforest.

A range of traditional, indulgent treatments will be offered using Sri Panwa's own Thai product line which uses natural and local ingredients including limes, apricot kernels (for scrubs) papaya, honey and yoghurt.

Signature treatments will include the two-therapist Heavenly Bliss massage and the Serenity Massage, using essential oils to promote a sense of relaxation, followed by a hot Pra-kob (herbal ball). Details: sripanwa.com
