Omni plans two US developments

The Omni Hotels group has revealed plans to expand into the luxury hotel and resort market in North America with two new properties.

The first, in Pontogue, Mexico, will take the form of a resort community along Banderas Bay – Mexico’s largest natural bay – and will include a golf course and a spa.

The second property is being planned with Songy Partners of Atlanta for Houston, Texas and will be created from the redevelopment of a former Sheraton hotel, complete with a large wellness centre located on the fourth floor.
