Following a £1.2m investment over the past 12 months, Pennyhill Park Hotel & Spa in Bagshot, UK, has recently completed a number of renovations, including the installation of a Dröm UK dry sauna, a rose herbal steamroom and Canadian hot tubs.

Regular members, as well as the Team GB Judo squad and the England Rugby team have also been impressed with the recent addition of Artis Technogym equipment, including its Arke core-centric training range.

Al fresco spa treatments on the spa’s decking were initiated last month and Natura Bissé will begin offering bespoke spa treatments on 2 September when it launches at the property.

Dalesauna, thermal spa equipment supplier, has installed a foot spa experience, offering cold and warm water massage overlooking the decking.

The spa’s ice igloo has been retiled with added seats and lighting. The ‘Thermal Haven Area’ also has new blue mood lighting, while a drench bucket and bench are set to be installed soon.

A new relaxation area has been populated with 80 loungers beside the swimming pool, which features underwater music.

Earlier this year, Darren Dixon – spokesperson for the 123-bedroom hotel – told Spa Opportunities that these updates to the spa are part of a longer development plan that’s due to take place over the next five years.
