The AquaSpa at the De Vere Belfry in Wishaw, Warwickshire, UK, has launched a physiotherapy clinic in an effort to expand its facilities and treatment range.
The spa has appointed former Aston Villa Football Club physiotherapist Jim Walker to head the clinic, which will offer guests immediate treatments seven days a week.
The one hour physiotherapy sessions are targeted at guests who have experienced a sports injury and include a half-hour rehabilitation session at the resort’s gym.
De Vere Belfry is owned by Irish leisure conglomerate Quinn Group, which bought the site from De Vere for £186m in February 2005.
As part of the agreement, Quinn contracted De Vere to operate the 324-room hotel and golf resort which will retain its name for the next 25 years. Details: www.devereonline.co.uk20
