Phytomer's outstanding biotechnology innovations
POSTED 30 Oct 2012 . BY Kate Corney
2012 marked the 40th anniversary of Phytomer and laid the foundations for a very high-potential future.

For decades Phytomer has understood the strength of marine active ingredients that are the key to the high performance of its products.

Its latest development in marine biotechnology goes one step further. The brand is one of the very first worldwide to have identified and used a new and 100 per cent natural source of marine ingredients: ExoPolySaccharides, or EPS.

These EPS represent the future of marine cosmetics with an almost infinite amount of applications and no land equivalent.

Phytomer has incorporated its first EPS, Extra Marine Filler (XMF) into its latest anti-aging cream, Pioneer XMF, to deliver outstanding smoothing and redensifying properties.

This technology has also been included in the Youth Revealing Pioneer Treatment which was launched simultaneously this autumn.

Marine biotechnology

Applied to the skin surface, XMF, a concentrate of marine biotechnology, creates an invisible natural film that immediately smoothes the appearance of wrinkles. Lines on the skin seem to disappear after a single application.

It also acts inside the skin by stimulating the synthesis of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid. It helps add tension to these fibres for a denser and firmer skin mattress. The skin is firmed and tautened, like after a facelift.

With its two new professional masks and its unique resurfacing lotion, the Youth Revealing Pioneer treatment reaches the height of biotechnological performance and restores the skin’s youthfulness, softness and luminosity.

The specific face massage completes the action of the products and heightens relaxation. The skin is smoother and firmer. It glows with new radiance.

The independent testing highlighted that 100 per cent of volunteers prefer this treatment to their usual treatment, and more than 90 per cent confirmed their skin had never looked so beautiful.*
