An unnamed Qatari private investor is reported to be in discussions over the acquisition of the W London - Leicester Square hotel from a Northern Ireland-based developer.
According to the BBC, current owner McAleer and Rushe is close to securing a deal worth £196m for the sale of the hotel - part of its wider Swiss Centre scheme in central London.
W London - Leicester Square opened earlier this year and boasts an Away Spa on the fifth floor, which includes five treatment rooms, three private suites and a beauty boutique.
