Sandals Resorts’ Dunn’s River property in Jamaica has reopened as the Sandals Dunn’s River Villaggio Golf Resort & Spa following a US$25m (£14.5m, 21.1m euro) renovation programme.
Situated on the north coast of the island and boasting a mountainous backdrop, a Sandals’ signature Red Lane Spa has been added to the 250-room property alongside other redevelopments including the construction of a formal Italian garden complete with cypress trees and fountains.
Red Lane Spa treatments range from body polishes, scrubs and peels to wraps, massages and facials and use indigenous ingredients such as Jamaica’s Blue Mountain coffee, sweet oranges, brown sugar and local honey, all sourced from the island.
