Remedy Place has opened a sleek new social wellness club in Boston
Covering 10,000sq ft, the new opening marks the brand's fourth location in the US, joining its existing destinations in LA and New York
The club offers striking views of Boston Harbor and operates with a modern tech-forward approach to self-care, human connection and cutting-edge therapies
Remedy Place Boston has been designed to foster both relaxation and social interaction – a monthly membership starts at US$550 (€510, £426)
Remedy Place has opened its biggest-ever social wellness club in Boston’s Seaport District, bringing its signature blend of self-care and social connection to a new market.

Following the successful launch of Remedy Place's third location in SoHo, Manhattan, in November 2024, this expansion marks the brand's fourth location and represents a significant milestone as a new market outside of New York City and Los Angeles.

Spanning 10,000sq ft, the sleek new club offers a wide range of high-tech and holistic treatments, from AI-powered massage and cryotherapy to lymphatic compression, red light therapy and hyperbaric oxygen therapy.

Exclusive to this location are:
• A 10-person communal contrast bathing suite with ice baths, a Finnish sauna, a steamroom, and showers.
• A foam bathing suite.
• An atrium for group movement classes, including mat Pilates and yoga.
• A humid sauna.

Members also have access to IV therapy beds with city views, guided ice baths, vitamin shots and functional medicine sessions with a naturopath. The club’s Meridian Health Assessments analyse up to 600 biomarkers to create personalised self-care plans, incorporating blood panels, custom supplements, VO2 max testing and more.

Additional facilities include an infrared sauna, Remedy Place’s signature Tech-Remedies and Alternative Medicine, as well as chic common areas and amenities.

A space for connection and calm
“This opening marks an important milestone for Remedy Place. This club isn’t just about expanding to a new city; it’s about redefining how people connect and live their best lives,” said Dr Jonathan Leary, founder and CEO of Remedy Place.

“We’re providing world-class technology and modalities to enhance self-care and improve overall health and performance."

Leary, who has a doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine, came up with the concept for Remedy Place while working in private practice. Seeing firsthand how patients struggled to live a healthy lifestyle and still be social, he set about merging the two in a new business model – a social wellness club.

Each club offers four main components:
• The Lounge – "a gathering space" for working or socialising where locally sourced, healthy food is served and "non-alcoholic happy hours reign supreme".
• Tech remedies – mostly touchless, less labour-intensive offerings such as cryotherapy cabins, hyperbaric oxygen chambers and ice bath studios.
• Holistic practitioners – ranging from functional medicine specialists to those focusing on gut health, chiropractic movement, acupuncture and administering IV vitamin infusions.
• Group classes – sessions include breathwork, sound bath meditation and stretch/mobility.

“Boston is known for leading in education, healthcare and technology," says Leary, "making it the perfect city for us to introduce social self-care. We couldn’t be more excited to bring Remedy Place to this community, creating a space where people can feel their best while making meaningful connections.”

Designed to foster both relaxation and social interaction, Remedy Place Boston features Venetian plaster walls, custom chocolate and titanium travertine stone finishes, 20-foot ceilings and sweeping city views.

Growing with purpose
Alongside its Boston expansion, Remedy Place has appointed two key executives:
• Elizabeth Genel – head of people and organisational wellbeing – brings 20+ years of HR leadership experience from LVMH and Lashify.
• Kelli Bartlett – head of education and experience – has led large-scale training programmes in luxury beauty and wellness, with previous roles at Glamsquad and Ever/Body.

With the opening of its largest club to date and an expanded leadership team, Remedy Place says it is entering an exciting new era of growth. As it brings social wellness to new markets, its mission remains the same: "to redefine how people connect and ensure every guest leaves feeling better than when they arrived".
