The expansion within the Gansevoort Hotel Group (GHG) is continuing with the announcement of third party management ventures for Gansevoort Toronto and Gansevoort Chicago, both of which will boast a spa as part of their facilities when they open in 2012.
Most recently, GHG opened the Gansevoort Turks & Caicos, a Wymara Resort in March 2009. The 91-bedroom property on the main tourist island of Providenciales is located in the western area of Grace Bay Beach and boast reef-protected ocean waters on its beachfront.
Built by the Apollo Development Company, the Turks & Caicos resort offers a 7,000sq ft (650.3sq m) infinity-edged swimming pool as well as an Exhale Spa.
The original Hotel Gansevoort opened in New York City's historic Meatpacking district in 2004, featuring G-Spa, a spa-lounge concept.
