Rosewood Hotels & Resorts is set to launch a new hotel and spa in China in 2013.
Located in the Chaoyang District opposite the iconic CCTV Tower, Rosewood Beijing will feature 279 guestrooms.
Designed by Melbourne-based Bar Studio, the hotel will house Rosewood's signature Sense spa brand.
The spa will feature five spa suites designed for overnight stays and treatment will reflect the local culture and environment.
Seven restaurants and lounges will serve a combination of international and local cuisine. The Chinese restaurant will feature a contemporary lower floor as well as nine private dining suites on the upper floor.
Other facilities will include indoor swimming pools, a yoga studio and a fitness centre.
The hotel's meeting and function space will span 33,000 sq ft (3,066 sq m) and include a large ballroom.
