The Ecologic Spa Developers company is to open a second spa in Mallorca at Nixe Palace in August.

Covering 350sq m (3770 sq ft), the Ecologic Natural Day Spa had a soft opening in June before fully opening next month.

The spa has four treatment rooms – comprising a Japanese suite, a Moroccan suite, an Indian suite and a Vichy Shower room with a wooden massage table – plus a spa pool, a hammam and an ice fountain.

Specialised showers will feature aromatherapy, tropical rain and fresh water mist while other facilities will include a relaxation area with heated loungers and a water therapy circuit including a hydrotherapy pool with jets and water fountains, complete with sea views.

Treatments will focus on eastern techniques combined with western philosophies and signature therapies will include four different types of deep facial cleansing alongside body skincare rituals and stone massage.

Designed by Theramarium, the spa is the second franchise for the Ecologic group in Mallorca – the first being at Blau Porto Petro resort, which opened in January this year.

The Ecologic spa brand is scheduled to be rolled out throughout Europe over the next couple of years while the group will be specifically targeting high-end hotels, luxury resorts and golf clubs for potential new spa sites. Details: www.spadevelopers.com
