Shangri-La to open two Shanghai sites

Asia-based group Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts is to open two luxury hotels with wellness facilities in Puxi, Shanghai, in 2011.

The luxury Jing An Shangri-La, Shanghai will occupy the top 24 floors of 58-storey building, open in mid-2011 and is set to boast a CHI spa, health club and swimming pool.

Shangri-La's Jing An Kerry Centre Hotel will be modelled on the group's existing Kerry Centre Hotel in Beijing.

The 43-storey hotel will open at the end of 2011. It will have a 33,368sq ft (3,100sq m) health club and swimming pool with an outdoor terrace, but will not include a CHI spa.
