So Spa expansion moves into Pacific region
POSTED 06 Sep 2013 . BY Tom Anstey
The New Zealand location is the first So Spa to open in the Pacific region
So Spa has taken its first step into the Pacific region with the opening of a new So Spa at the Sofitel Auckland Viaduct Harbour.

First Launched in London, England in 2009, So Spa now has 25 locations in five continents across the globe, including sites in China, India, Thailand, France and Austria.

The 325sq m (3,500sq ft) Auckland spa has six treatment rooms in addition to a 20m indoor lap pool, sauna and steamroom which are available as part of the new So FIT fitness centre.

So Spa uses Themea and the Plantogen ranges, while traditional New Zealand recipes will also be on offer, including a Healing Manuka Honey Facial, which uses New Zealand honey and a Maori-inspired Ataahua Beautiful Body Treatment.

The So Exhilarating Body Massage and So Rejuvenating Facial are both available as signature day treatments.

The spa offers a gourmet-style menu of treatments which is split into a menu of ‘starters’, ‘mains’, ‘specials’ and ‘desserts’ to suit the specific wellness needs of each customer.
