A new 10,000sq ft (929sq m) spa - managed by WTS International - has been launched at the Woodstock Inn and Resort in Vermont, US.

Unveiled in late 2010, the facility features 10 treatment rooms; tranquil men's and women's lounges; the Great Room; an outdoor courtyard; and a retail area.

The Great Room is designed to provide a space in which to relax before and after treatments, with the adjacent outdoor courtyard offering a Scandinavian sauna and a whirlpool.

Elsewhere, the Woodstock Suite is situated on the upper level and provides treatment tables and a 250-gallon (1,137-litre) Japanese Hinoki soaking tub.

Woodstock Inn and Resort's spa uses organic products supplied by Eminence, Spa Ritual, Naturopathica and EmerginC Scientific Organics, as well as UNITE haircare products.

Michelle Adams is the resort's spa director.

Other facilities at the 142-bedroom resort include the 41,000sq ft (3,809sq m) Racquet and Fitness Club, which features two indoor tennis courts and 10 outdoor courts.

A 1,700sq ft (158sq m) aerobic class fitness room; a 600sq ft (58sq m) personal training studio; and the Suicide Six downhill ski experience also feature.
