Tees Active, the sports trust which operates leisure facilities in the borough of Stockton-on-Tees has been awarded the Charter Mark for excellent customer service.
The inspectors’ report stated: “Tees Active can be proud of having met the new charter mark standard with a high level of compliance.
“The service demonstrated exemplary practice in providing substantial, relevant evidence and in co-operating to give access to all areas of provision during its charter mark assessment. It is appropriate to comment on the excellence of the submission of evidence at the desktop stage which contributed to the very high level of compliance achieved.”
Charter Mark is awarded for three years, with annual visits to ensure compliance with the standards and is real recognition of all the hard work that has gone in to transforming the way the service is delivered. Details: www.teesactive.co.uk
