The Pure Group continues its Asian expansion with Hong Kong club
POSTED 19 May 2015 . BY Kath Hudson
Colin Grant launched the Pure Group in 2002
The Pure Group has opened a 25,000sq ft health club over six floors in the central district of Hong Kong, at the iconic California Tower, home to 27 floors of restaurants, bars and creative commerce.

With high ceilings and full length windows offering great views downtown, highlights of the club include what is said to be the world’s first 270 degree Immersive Fitness studio – taking cyclists down a virtual glacier and through a space age city.

There is also a group fitness room with Asia’s first Les Mills SPRINT class, a dedicated boxing and kickboxing zone, a rotating climbing wall trainer, and a strongman and power area for strength training.

For pre and post workouts there is a chill-out lounge, exclusive ladies’ lounge and a nood food juice bar.

It is the first gym in Hong Kong to offer Technogym’s ARTIS range and Life Fitness’ Insignia Series.

“We are raising the bar at Pure Fitness California Tower,” says Pure Group CEO, Colin Grant. “We will continue to look for innovative ways to help our clients lead healthier and more active lives.”

The Pure Group, aims to offer all the facets for a holistic lifestyle. It has five core businesses: Pure Yoga, Pure Fitness, Pure Apparel, RED Bar + Restaurant and nood food.

With more than 20 sites in Hong Kong, Singapore, Taipei and Shanghai, and two in New York, the Pure Group has plans to continue its expansion throughout Asia.
