Things get hairy as Central YMCA Club sign up for Movember
POSTED 01 Nov 2010 . BY Tim Nash
Staff and Club members of Central YMCA Club have signed up to take part in Movember, the annual campaign to change the face of men's health and raise money for the Prostate Cancer Charity.

For the next 30 days staff and Club members will be competing to grow the most luxurious upper lip accessory, sporting Truckers, Connoisseurs' and Undercover Brothers.

The Club will be putting on special Movember classes for all the Mo Bros and Mo Sistas taking part, including a Team-Teach Cardio Kick Class on 18th November, and a Mo-ve It disco-inspired aerobics class on 29th November.

Anyone taking part in Movember will also be able to use the gym facilities completely free of charge on any Friday in November.

"Prostate cancer is a serious concern for men. As the leading activity for health charity we're always looking for ways to engage people in talking about their health and well-being; growing a moustache to raise awareness is a bit of fun for a good cause," says Barry Cronin, Central YMCA Club's Executive Director.
