The new Valamar Lacroma Resort, Conference and Spa has been unveiled by Special Hotels of the World (SHOTW) on the Babin Kuk peninsula near Dubrovnik, Croatia.

Facilities at the 401-bedroom resort, which is to be part of the Valamar Hotels and Resorts Group, include a conference hall as well as two restaurants and two swimming pools.

The resort also boasts a 10,097sq ft (938sq m) spa designed by ra.be Interior Design, which includes 10 treatment rooms, two relaxation areas, a Turkish bath, an ice fountain and a massage area, as well as a ladies-only Afrodita Spa.

Treatments offered at the spa, which include beauty and facial care, body treatments and massages, will use a range of products, including Decleor, Thalgo and Alessandro.
