Von Essen hotels has confirmed that it will launch The Spa at The Mount Somerset in the UK on 11 October 2010.
The spa will be the third of five to be completed this year following an multi-million pound investment across the collection to enhance von Essen hotels' luxury lifestyle offering.
The opening will mark the final phase of the redevelopment of the hotel, which von Essen acquired in 1994.
The spa has been designed as a traditional bathhouse and will include a hydrotherapy pool, thermal suite with sauna and steamroom, relaxing foot spas, experience showers and a number of treatment rooms.
The spa menu boasts a range of treatments, supplied by comfort zone. Von Essen will introduce two exclusive signature treatments for the spa - the 'peaceful earth facial' and 'body cocoon'.
There will also be a large fitness suite with Technogym equipment, a spa terrace and a retail area.
The introduction of the spa is part of a larger redevelopment of the hotel.
A comprehensive refurbishment of all public areas and guest rooms, as well as the addition of a brand new hotel wing accommodating eight new luxurious deluxe double bedrooms - bringing the total number of guestrooms to 19 - were completed in August of this year.
