W Hotels Worldwide has opened its first hotel in Singapore.

The 240-bedroom W Singapore - Sentosa Cove is owned by an affiliate of City Developments Limited and was designed by London, UK-based architects WATG. It will be managed on behalf of City Developments by W Hotels.

The hotel offers a fully integrated lifestyle experience, featuring guest rooms and suites, an Away Spa, two signature restaurants, a destination bar, the W Lounge experience, WET pool deck and bar, and more than 1,500 square metres of modern meeting and event space. Adjacent to the hotel are 228 W-branded residences.

Spa facilities include six spa rooms and three spa suites, including five private treatment rooms, a relaxation space and extensive wet areas.

The opening of W Singapore - Sentosa Cove is the W brand's 43rd hotel worldwide, and its seventh in Asia Pacific.

Kwek Leng Beng, executive chair of City Developments, said: "The opening of W Singapore - Sentosa Cove heralds a new era of hospitality for our country.

"W Singapore will add to the vibrancy of Sentosa Cove by providing residents and visitors with a marina lifestyle haven unlike ever before."
