Wexer partners Spanish hotel group to offer guests 24-hr workouts
POSTED 06 Sep 2017 . BY Deven Pamben
Infit has been introduced at Innside properties in Palma Bosque, Frankfurt Ostend and Hamburg Hafen
Meliá Hotels International has introduced Infit at its Innside brand of properties - a digital fitness software program powered by fit-tech company Wexer that allows guests to access the gym 24 hours a day.

Infit provides guests with hundreds of virtual classes from brands worldwide, with the Wexer Virtual on-demand player allowing users to browse and play classes. The idea was inspired to give busy guests more control over their fitness regimes.

The program has been introduced at Innside properties in Palma Bosque, in Spain, as well as Frankfurt Ostend and Hamburg Hafen, in Germany.

“This unique fitness program is an innovative solution to the continuously evolving lifestyle needs of the work-tripping traveller,” said Susanna Mander, global senior director of brand marketing at Meliá.

Paul Bowman, Wexer chief executive, said: “We are committed to making world-class exercise accessible to more people through technology so it’s a clear next step to be partnering with great hotel brands such as Meliá.”

Innside Hotels are four and five-star hotels in cities in Spain and Germany, including Berlin, Munich, Madrid, Frankfurt, Bremen and Dusseldorf. Spanish-based Meliá has six other accommodation brands and more than 370 hotels in 43 countries on four continents.
