Six Senses chooses Chinese brand name ahead of first resort launch

Six Senses Hotels Resorts and Spas has announced its Chinese brand name ??,
pronounced “Liu Shan” in Mandarin and “Luk Sin” in Cantonese. This name
has been chosen ahead of the launch of the operator’s first Chinese property –
Six Senses Qing Cheng Mountain resort in 2015 – to ensure the brand resonates with the
mainland China market.

Merzouga are offering wellness treatments to tourists by digging holes in 150m
(492ft) high sand dunes for visitors to bury themselves neck-deep in the heated
ground for ten minute sessions.

Mélia Hotels to launch another resort on the volcanic island of Sal in Cape Verde

Mélia Hotels International will launch the five-star Mélia Dunas resort on 1
November on the Algodoeiro beachfront of the island of Sal in the Republic of
Cape Verde – an archipelago of ten tropical volcanic islands in the Atlantic

Canary Islands.
