British beauty and waxing brand Ashmira Botanica has launched a new skincare range to power its recently-unveiled suite of spa treatments.

The new menu of rituals features five treatments including facials, exfoliation and a full body massage. All protocols are based on Traditional Chinese Medicine’s (TCM) concepts of the meridian system, acupressure and the Five Elements; wood, fire, earth, metal and water.

Each element has unique characteristics and is associated with a season, the weather, colour, personality type and emotion.

Ashmira Botanica says the holistic rituals can be personalised to each client depending on their biorhythm (year of birth), meridian, skincare issues or emotions, as well as being suited to the season and time of year.

Each treatment features a cup of ceremonial drinking cacao and sound healing ritual to offer an extra layer of relaxation and differentiate the journey from other offerings.

The brand offers a two-day therapist training course that includes the theory of the Five Elements, as well as practical demonstrations to experience the products and learn the techniques for each treatment.

Professional skincare and bodycare products
The vegan Ashmira Botanica products incorporate plant extracts, essential oils and clays and are formulated in the UK in small batches to minimise their ecological footprint. Formulas feature aloe vera, rice and essential oils to soothe the skin and balance Yin and Yang energies.

The collection is made up of a variety of massage oils, cleansing oils, clay powders, balms and elixirs.

“We’ve been supplying our professional waxing brand to more than 800 international salons and spas for more than five years, and now, we’re proud to present our new wellness and skincare range to the market,” says Tracey Smith, Ashmira Botanica director.

“Up until 15 years ago, I worked with the French skincare range La Phyto, until it sadly ceased business when the CEO retired.

“We kept in touch and I was delighted when he came to us suggesting a refreshed version of his old spa brand using the same core concept focused on TCM and Chinese massage and lymphatic drainage principles.

“Each treatment is bespoke and effective, offering immediate, visible results to each individual client.”

Ashmira Botanica is partnered with brands including Mandarin Oriental, Gaia Spa, Harrods, Jumeirah, Champneys and Bannatyne Spa.
