Crown Sports Lockers has helped create Britain’s first SPAshell modular spa facility, in partnership with spa consultancy firm Spa Creators.
The SPAshell system, brainchild of Spa Creators’ director Alistair Johnson, involves modular spa facilities that are built off-site, complete with all interior fittings including reception and lounge areas, a fitted kitchen, integral sauna and steam room, showers, toilets, tiling, treatment rooms, plumbing and electrics. The building is then transported in sections to its destination and craned into position.
The first SPAshell facility was installed at Fishmore Hall, a boutique hotel in Ludlow, Shropshire, and was operational just days after installation.
Crown created a bespoke reception desk featuring laminated panels, and a custom nail bar with retail display and pull-out counters for the facility.
They also manufactured and supplied a staff kitchen with a desk, seating units and storage, changing room fit-outs with lockers, seating with storage below in the docking pods, and wet and dry combined vanity units, and treatment room fit-outs with cupboards, pull out therapists’ trolleys and Corian worktops.
